Keep it simple with whole slow roasts
One of the simplest ways to eat healthily and save money is to slow roast large joints of meat.
Not only is it simple (rub in some herbs and butter and roast on a low temperature), the extra meat will create healthy side snacks and can be used in other meals (e.g breakfast the next day). Cooking meat on the bone means you can use them to make delicious bone broths (we do this at least 1x per week). Bone broth is very, very healthy and forms the bases of stocks, sauces and soups.
